  1. All Gravity ever wanted
    was to soften the world.
  2. Gravity bends his rules
    for children at play.
  3. Gravity bends Light.
    The bending of your thoughts
    is not an illusion.
  4. EVERYONE attends Gravity’s parties.
  5. Think of it like this:
    The long hug of the world
    is worth the occasional fall.

John Berry is a poet and performer in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. His most recent chapbook, The Lawnmower Poems, was published by Foothills Publishing in 2019.
