Mohsen Raherdi

FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE GAZA STRIP

The forecast tells that
This fall
So many kids
Start evaporating
Along the shore in the strip!
The latest prediction is that
in some parts of the beautiful Mediterranean coast
the sea
eats up the shore
even though
there is no report of
melting ice
not in the South
nor in the North.

BREAKING POINT
Believe it or not
Every person
Has a limit.
Even this very patient mixer
Breaks down
If given
A distinct
Sum of
Dough
And eggs

AWAKENS
Alas
The sun had already
Passed my window
Such a fool
I was to
Trust the neighbor’s
Rooster.
