LOVE
She kissed him, pissing.
I love you, she said,
be careful when you leave.
The trickle paused: you
be careful, too.
Back in bed,
love, she thought,
remembering gray whiskers
mixed with the black.
Love, she whispered,
hearing the trickle
warm and
healthy.
Love,
still going strong.
