Shira Dentz

MAGIC

we
might float
outside gravity
even inside
gravity
even inside ourselves.
Diffuse, reuse, recluse
A pursed utterance.
A ribbed body.
A fan-shaped shell
hanging from a rooster’s neck
like a tie,
an anchor
holding us to ground
when
otherwise
we
might float
outside gravity
