Cary, Joan, Jimmy, Henry

Bette, Clark:  I have grown

Up with them all They are my

Nightly partners as I escape

Into comedy, drama and musicals

With the obliteration of the Studio System

It’s just not the same

No more movie stars just actors who

Come and go without ever really

Establishing a following

New Hollywood cannot compete with the old glory

of MGM or Warner Brothers

Bring back Humphrey, Gary, Barbara, Olivia

And those who made the silver screen

Shine with class and regality

We need some reminders of

Tinsel Town’s past glory
