Maria Kranidis

IN A CLOUD

Sweetness of your lips

Honeycomb memories

The distant times

In our mind’s alley

Shadows in the wind

Before the sun leaves

Its post

Light fades

In a cloud

Your face

Sacred and silent

There I visit

Urgently

When life drifts

And hope catches me

Like a lover’s kiss

I repeat the voyage

To your ethereal self

But always return

to missing you
