THE MISERABLE B’S
Oh, those B’s
beautifully wrapped in layers of fur,
black with yellow stripes.
We watched …
we watch their dizzily busy bodies moving from here to there … buzzzzing …
waxing their octagonal homes, their mouths injecting regurgitations of sweetness.
They tease a taste or two from the drippings of their hives
sooo inviting …
so inviting so sweet to taste …
so sweetly bitter
you forget those miserable bees lured you in
hypnotized … by their smooth waxy glitter.
Many have been invited to the hive … to the preview
… they make you think you are one of their clan, entitled to their food,
as they buzz, buzzzz … buzzing …
about their tasty golden rich drips …
but few have left the hive unscathed.
Beware!
They, without mercy,
will sting and stun and sting
They will sting each other if they have to.
Be careful!!
FOOL!
Do not come close !!
Oh those miserable B’s
Will they not sting you?
