I breath
when summer had faded away.

And autumn comes with
the changing leaves,
our love won’t fall away.

It stays within me
and within my heart.

This love,
this feeling,
this motion
I won’t thwart.

It holds me close
when I know you’re near.

With a smile that’s true
and words sincere.

That’s why this fear
of love
is fading from my mind.

This past
of people
that didn’t stay
is what I’m leaving behind.

And that’s why I admire
and you inspire
these words
that are like
a song.

Something to keep
and listen to,
I just knew all along.
